Quite plainly, can you take an alternative class feature that gives you something, and then give up access to that for another ACF? The specifics are a Wildshaping Ranger (who is losing combat styles to gain Barbarian fast movement and Druid wildshape), who then gives up fast movement for pounce via the Lion Totem out of CC. Is this legal? The build in mind, I don't have all of the specifics at the moment but it would be a gestalt Monk 20//Wildshape Ranger/MoMF using VoP. Obviously alternatively you could just take an animal that gains pounce, but this might open up new possibilities. |

Yeah, I could see how you could end up gaining quite a bit if you play it right. Might be interesting to toy with. |

For example, Lion Totem is a Barbarian ACF and Wildshape is a Ranger ACF. You're a Ranger, so the Barbarian ACF's can't be used. Would it be unbalancing to allow them to? Most likely not. Now, there are a couple of them that don't say what class they go to (for example: Dragonscale Husk), so that could work in those cases. |
