Anyone got an index of the various action-point increasing, using, modifying things?

I'm stuck lately on different kinds of semi-nova-ish builds. We all known actions are great ... extra actions are better. The best kind are things you can use one resource to power.

Anyone got any links or resources on this?

Temporary Action Point Providers:
Raging Luck (Feat, ECS)- 1 temporary Action Point while raging
Heroic Devotion (Feat, FoE)- Sac a spell slot for a temporary action point.
Prophecy’s Hero (Feat, MoE)- gain 1 temporary action point while in prophetic favor.
Unfettered Heroism (Spell, RoE)- gain 1 temp. action point/round

Bonus Action Points at Level-up:
Heroic Companinon (MoE)- +1 action point/lvl

Can't Unfettered Heroism be persisted, also?

Yep.

It was the power source for the old Endless Spells trick (Wand Surge+ Persistent Unfettered Heroism)

There's also a feat in RoD that grants 1 extra AP per day. But the name escapes me atm.

An additional benefit of Unfettered Heroism is that it allows you to use more than 1 AP per round. So you could apply APs to multiple attacks for example.

It's Heroic Destiny IIRC, however it's not RAW an action point - it's just once per day you can add 1d6 to any roll.

The other thing that can be done to use Action Points it picking the feats that up the die type for an action point to a d12. Adding the best of 3 different d12s to hit and then pouring it into power attack is worth noting. Or when you miss the target's SR. Or if you're a Valenar Elf, if you ever roll a natural one.

iirc - persistant wasn't actually necessary, rather you could just use one of the extra Action Points to renew the spell, over and over.
If I remember correctly, and a never tried to learn that system.

Yeah, I know about Unfettered Heroism - that's a good one ... but the problem is it still only gives you one extra a round and action points are limited by your LEVEL. So ... you could nova ... but man, it better be worth it. Action Surge can net you another standard for 2 points ... but you don't get many of those. You can extend the usefulness of that with Raging Luck, Draconic Prophecy and plain old Unfettered Heroism but they still run out awfully quick.

:sigh:
