#1 CantripN Nov 24, 2008 10:37:08	Hey, all. I'm opening a campaign with me as a DM, using elements of Age of Worms and Elder Evils, etc. Players begone! Could you guys suggest Worm/Kyuss-like Feats, Spells, Monsters and anything else of the sort? Use any book you like, even Dragon Magazine. I'm hoping to get a wide array of stuff to use, and I need the extra eyes. Stuff I've got (will update as we move on): Monsters and Templates: Worm That Walks (+3 CR) Lesser Worm That Walks (+? #2 dragonson Nov 24, 2008 11:08:44	Well, obviously (though you don't seem to have them on your list...) there are the Spawn of Kyuss and Ulgurstasta of MM2. Also, the Avolakia is in there. You might want to go with the Willing Deformity (Heroes of Horror & mentioned in Elder Evils) and then the Defromity (Parasite) feats for your baddies... Anything gross and nasty enough would do. Maybe some Death Knights (template from MM2) boosted with the "Bestow Worm" ability. Might warrant a +1 CR increase, but I'm not sure. Perhaps even a re-flavored Angel of Decay (Libris Mortis) would work. Plenty undead and aberrations would work quite nicely. Some of them may need a re-flavoring with worm garnish is all. ;)
#3 BloodDragon Nov 24, 2008 11:31:03	Psionics allowed? You got your basic Puppeteers and Neothelid, which you can find in the SRD. Purple Worm another core that you didn't list? Or are you aimming for non-core stuff? "Evard's All-Seeing Worm" is a spy type divination spell from dungeon #107. Wormbound feat which is part of the Age of Worms campaign so you probably already knew of it. Dragon #343 The Demon Lord Ugudenk, and another "Gaint Worm" Demon lord whose name I forget at the moment detailed in Dungeon #150? 149? I believe, not sure if you'd care for those... And some more detail on Kyuss himself or Worm Gods in general in the Elder Evils book...

I believe, not sure if you'd care for those You reminded me of Obox-Ob, Demon Prince of Vermin. I don't know if he was detailed in Dungeon, but he is in FC1: Hordes of the Abyss. Big, wormy/scorpion thing with a lot of things like that around him.
#5 trednis Nov 24, 2008 17:59:25	alter the voidmind template (MM3) to be infested instead of mindflayer controlled. redo the Kyton armor to be a writhing mass instead of actual chain (SS) staff of the glutton (SS) is good as it is. the dire leeches from Dragonlance; good in both swarm and individual form. Ashworm Dragoon from Sandstorm can be adapted to a blackguard or other corrupted paladin type.
