| #1sima89Aug 03, 2009 13:57:28 | So basically i have character that is to tower over all other humans while still being human(relatively). He is to be our equivalent of a Norwegian man but just a bit bigger at about 6'6'' tall on average and my character is on the larger side of that about 7'2'' ish. So basically it fits thematically that i want to get the powerful build from the Goliath race. so i asked if i could exchange my human First level feat for it. The build Im going for is a mix of warblade and fighter with a small tinge of crusader maybe focusing on bullrush with shock trooper and dungeon crasher substitution which he knows is the plain. The point of the substation is to get the knock-back feat. I think the DM will allow me to do the substitution for powerful build but the problem is Im not sure if this is a fair trade or if Im getting a better deal out of it. |

As a pseudo-large human, you'll still be vulnerable to those "Hold Person" spells and the like, but will also be able to benefit from Enlarge Person to actually become Large (and count as Huge). |

| #7phaedrusxyAug 03, 2009 14:33:42 | Jotenbrud is the feat, and yeah it gives Powerful Build. Well... it isn't quite the same as powerful build. It doesn't give you the ability to use bigger than normal weapons, but it is otherwise pretty much the same. |
| #8deoxhydroxinateAug 03, 2009 14:40:17 | Yeah, I mean sure the larger weapon is a huge advantage, but if you're not concerned with it, then for all intents and purposes it's the same. |
