An Alchemical Trickster...?

Hmm, I was brainstorming on some char. builds & I thought about running an Alchemical Trickster...
I like the idea of a guy tumbling through a battlefield lobbing potion grenades & throwing daggers, then turning around & blasting enemies with crazy rods/wands.

I was thinking something along the lines of a steampunk Gnome, Halfling, or Dwarf  Artificer/Rogue (maybe Master-Thrower?) I'm not entirely sure on how to work this because I've never really ran an Artificer before.

Any ideas would be very helpful.

this is SUPER funny because i've been building this for a character of mine over the past week or so... here is how it is made...

artificer5/alchemist savant4/masterthrower3... i know its not lvl 20, but not many people play lvl 20

with spending half your starting money on an item to help craft alchemy and adding in 2 feats from ECS to reduce craft time, you can make almost 6 long burning alchemist fire's per day.  to do damage you palm throw alchemist's fire and lauge as they burn, then wip out yur wands and blow people up, or mix spells into yur alchemist fires and watch and lauge as you holdperson with an alchemist fire and they just get to stand there and burn...

Sorry for the double post, but I forgot that artificer got bonus feats, and after looking at it again i realized you can make as many "whatevers" as you have money for...

Nice, I'm going to have to aquire the MoE for the Savant class, I think it's the only Eberron book I don't have, but this is fixable.

I'm going to tinker with your build...I might throw in some Rogue for SA, but I'm not quite sure yet.

Weird. Maybe some sort of a direct linking block? Go through the left-hand side menu.

For melee combat you could use weapon capsules from Complete Adventurer I think, would allow you to use your alchemical skills and could benefit the party if you hand them out.

I cannot reccommend the Shape Splash feat enough for this idea.  It's restricted to Halflings (or Changelings with Racial Emulation), though.

Okay, I got it to work. My roommate had my retardedly strong firewall on.

Anyway, I thank you for the link but the group I'm running this build in doesn't play pathfinder...I will use this on my next online game however. ;)

Hmm, which book is that in?

Races of Eberron.  The ability to leave your allies untouched will prove handy, and the fact you can hit two adjacent foes is also highly useful.

Ah, my internets were down for a bit so I could't post my build...So here's what I have thus far;

I'm thinking something like;

- Fighter (SA var.) 1/Rogue 1/Spellthief 1/Artificer 4-5/ Achemical Savant 4-5/Master Thrower 3/ Artificer xxx?
