| #1manwithdogJul 23, 2010 9:29:18 | So i got the animal companion i was after - (apart from any rule breaks here - its been ok'd by my DM) A WarBeast Magebred Tiger. I am level 8 and by using Natural Bond i believe i can have my Tiger at class level 5. 9HD it works out as so thats 4 feats too i think. This is where i am lost, or rather stuck. One's i had in mind are: Shock Trooper (with pre-requisistes ofc) Leap Attack (not sure how leap attack works with pounce though so if anyone can shed some light) Vow Of Poverty was another i was wondering - is best to go with a feat like that for the bonuses i get or should i look more at giving him armour and such? Also - does the saddle class as a posession he shouldnt have eventhough it is technically my posession? Any advice and any other feat idea's greatly received. |

Your DM will probably be ok with it, seeing the other stuff he gave you, but you should ask if you haven't already. Leap Attack should work fine with pounce, letting you do a 2x power attack on charges with all of your attacks. Just remember to jump whenver you charge. As for Vow of Poverty, I'm not seeing anything that raises your companion's intelligence above 2 or changes its alignment. Exalted feats require your companion to be good. There are ways to do it (Celestial Companion or something like that) but without that your animal is neutral, and thus can't get Vow of Poverty. |
