The Barbarian I'll be developing for the end of the Living Greyhawk campaign will maybe end up as an Animal Lord (wolf).

I've never seen anything related to that class on the CO board. What do you think of it?

The benefits it gives you are pretty small, especially for the levels you're getting them at (some skill bonuses, low-light vision, etc.). But at least it's (a) a full BAB class and (b) not particularly hard to qualify for. I'd rate it as "harmless".

Are you going to take a level of druid or beastmaster to get an animal companion?

I don't think so... The plan is Barbarian / Ranger and abuse the Trapkiller ACF (hence the wolf animal). Having a wolf animal companion in Greyhawk City would only result in troubles that an INT 6 half-orc won't be able to manage (I already get my fair share of issues with my kobold).

Ha ha! The Trapslayer ACF is awesome. Also consider Horizon Walker as a PrC.
