| #1tijoMar 12, 2010 13:19:32 | i need build idea here are the restriction, stat and my idea restriction: no tob, no unearthed arcana,no forgottem realms,no eberron, no faerun book, only phb 1 & 2, complete warrior, adventurer, profane, divine, book of exalted deeds.magic item compendium and spell compendium we have acces to complete champion, race of stone and race of the wild but only for the prestige class. And player handbook race only no variation or sub-races. Oh and no caster execpt bard and paladin. These are the only caster allowed. the game start lvl 9 stat roll very high 18/16/16/16/14/12 ( bonus stat from lvl already include) i dont care if his melee or ranged but i dont want a buffer or something like that (kinda hard anyways with only bard like caster) my build idea 1- human melee bard 9 with feats battle dancer, lingering song, wpn focus, word of creations, and maybe snowflake wardance if he accept since his not scared of bard power with high inspire courage, snowflake, word of creation, alter self this build would have good AC , and very high to hit bonus. But Hp would be crap 2-maybe something like human monk 2/ fighter 2/ barb2 / fist of forest 3 that give not bad AC ,good damg outpout but not fantastic to hit.... 3- ranger archer 6/ wild runner 2/fighter 1 with raptor arrow maybe... any one have idea? |

That would allow you to start enchanting your natural attacks and get around not having weapons, and the stat bumps would mean you could have amazing AC. Alternatively there's always the fun Ranger2/Fighter 2/Barb 1/ Occult Slayer 4. Nice bonuses, good saves, rage, extra feats, lots of skills, and next level you'll be pretty much immune to mind affecting and capable of destroying anything with casting or a SLA (which around level ten, starts to be most things) |

(Make sure you resolve the conflict between the table and the text at character creation time.) Loses a bit of the punch (pun intended) with the Paladin casting progression, as opposed to the Cleric, but it's interesting. Would probably stack well with Vow of Poverty, too. (You might want to tweak how many levels of Paladin you take, depending on whether you want Smite Evil or not.) |

Alternatively, a Bardbarian Dragon Disciple is always fun in melee, especially as you could start with STR of 20 and hit STR 26 by level 10. and rage on top of that. |

Never got to try a Bear Warrior, and never got to play the dervish beyond eighth level or so, but they are fun. |
