| #3dr_rocktopusMar 31, 2009 16:49:03 | Pain and terror and never going to get past a GM. That said, they're currently up on the wizards site as an WE. I think they're in the surrealdex like everything else. sorry that's not more helpful. |
| #4sofawallMar 31, 2009 16:55:22 | 1) Savage Species 2) Ask a simple question, get a simple answer thread. EDIT: CRAZY NINJAS! |
| #5cole_caecusMar 31, 2009 16:55:48 | Pain and terror and never going to get past a GM. What do you mean Pain and Terror and never going to get past a dm? Are they really that powerful? |
| #6phaedrusxyMar 31, 2009 17:35:00 | They are also online at wizards, somewhere... Edit: Here http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ask/20061009a |
| #7malkavonMar 31, 2009 18:51:29 | What do you mean Pain and Terror and never going to get past a dm? Are they really that powerful? Some of them are pretty boss. Anthropomorphic bats get +6 Wis (although they take a decent penalty to Str and Cha), anthropomorphic squid get 8 tentacle attacks, etc. Overall they are pretty awesome. |
| #8dr_rocktopusMar 31, 2009 19:12:02 | Let me alert you to that fact that eight limbs is a number associated with many. I myself possess only four! I am told this is a common number. |
| #9atomickitkatApr 02, 2009 13:29:33 | Mainly because a lot of them have "ridiculously low"(relative to their "sane" in other books) Level Adjustments. Anthropomorphic Baleen Whale is pretty much the only way to get a Large character with no Level Adjustment(but 3 Monstrous Humanoid HD). Also the current leader for pre-Epic Hidecarved Dragon(3RHD+Half Dragon/Woodling/Mineral Warrior) challenge, that I remember at least. |
