Mar 31, 2009 16:47:58 the book they are in is savage species as for what they re well they re various animals you apply the anthropomorphic template to, this template is also in savage species.

What do you mean Pain and Terror and never going to get past a dm? Are they really that powerful?

What do you mean Pain and Terror and never going to get past a dm? Are they really that powerful?

Some of them are pretty boss. Anthropomorphic bats get +6 Wis (although they take a decent penalty to Str and Cha), anthropomorphic squid get 8 tentacle attacks, etc. Overall they are pretty awesome.

Apr 02, 2009 13:29:33 Mainly because a lot of them have "ridiculously low"(relative to their "sane" in other books) Level Adjustments. Anthropomorphic Baleen Whale is pretty much the only way to get a Large character with no Level Adjustment(but 3 Monstrous Humanoid HD). Also the current leader for pre-Epic Hidecarved Dragon(3RHD+Half Dragon/Woodling/Mineral Warrior) challenge, that I remember at least.
