Allowed books are PathFinder Core plus 3.5 Completes, ToB, XPH. Party includes rogue, cleric/crusader, fighter. 6th lvl party. Stats: I'm still not 100% on this build. I'll either play a aasimar or elf (if i end up with a wizard) pumping my primary stat to 20 - headband of +4 with crafting will make it 24. Going 1 lvl of monk improves my AC by 8 and it keeps going. Is it worth it tho? My other consideration is a gish with (close to) max CL. Thoughts? |

| #4ashernApr 26, 2010 14:13:59 | What Waazraath already said, between those two PrC's, you've got good BAB, decent casting, and monk stuff, which should do you fine with intelligent sorcerer spell selection. |

| #7waazraathApr 27, 2010 1:20:16 | Without consulting books: I think you haven't got enough levels available to put all this in: with monk1/sor6/enlightenedfist 10/Abjurant Champion3, you're already at 20. Might smuggle in some extra lavels of abjurant champion by using battle sorcerer, of wiz instead of sorcerer as is suggested, but no need for spellsword/eldritch knight. |

And frankly, both that and Eldritch Knight are going to be painful to qualify for since you won't have the armor and weapon proficiencies naturally. Frankly, I probably wouldn't go beyond 4th level for Enlightened Fist-- arcane rejuvenation is terrible (and you're losing a point of base attack bonus), a +1 or +2 effect on your unarmed strikes isn't worth a lost caster level, Hold Ray doesn't do much, and the SR of Diamond Soul isn't going to be worth much once you get it. I would go with Monk 1/Sorcerer 4/Enlightened Fist 4/Abjurant Champion 5 to start if you want to do Enlightened Fist (it should qualify for each class exactly as you finish off the last). That takes you to 14th level with 12th level casting and BAB 10. From there, you can pick up an arcane casting class (1/2 or 3/4 BAB doesn't make much difference ultimately) or, if you're not worried about 9th level spells, go further in Enlightened Fist or Eldritch Knight (which would get you CL 17 and BAB 16, which is probably your best epic entry). |
