What's a bite but a kiss taken to the next level?
It's a pretty long shot I think; you already don't have a lot of acquired templates for type changes to things other than extremes like undead (which are mostly acquired templates), and the fey type isn't a great pick to get a transformative prestige class like the dragon disciple or green star adept since it doesn't have any particularly distinctive or useful traits other than ceasing to be a humanoid.
I guess you could use a wish, or get really lucky on a reincarnate.

What do you know, an inherited template made acquired. I guess that is an alternative.
