It's in a book put out by Mongoose Publishing called Quintessential Druid. Basicly, starting at level 5, instead of gaining your normal W.S you instead get a feat from a special list each level. Each one grants access to types of creatures (Animal, beast, plant, Magical Beast, etc). It also changes your available shapes from HD to CR. So far it's the only way I've been able to find for getting access to Magical Beasts with wild shape (and not just one or two shapes) pre epic.
Anyways, just something I thought I'd point out to ya all. I figured Char Op. would be most interested in it, if anyone was. |

I know. Both are limited in the forms they can take, and one is made of that runny cheese that smells like feet (and is a pain for a W.S. ranger to get into). Their is also Beast Shape from ECS. Couple that with Chameleon and you can have the entire list, but still only a handful of shapes. |
