By RAW, any arcane spell of second level or lower goes into a third level slot. Can you then put some extended first level spell into the slot? Also, is there any way to, with a 10th level cleric (pure Cleric, no PrCs) cast spell off the assassin, paladin, or ranger list? It's level 3, so I can't use Anyspell (and I'm one level shy of Greater Anyspell). JaronK |

Maybe your DM will let you prepare a Heightened Anyspell to copy an arcane spell of one level lower than the spell slot used, though you still won't be able to mimic divine spells from the paladin or ranger lists that way. |
