Is there a magic weapon ability that makes it HARD for someone to steal that item from you, or destroy in a permanent way? I'm thinking for an Item Familiar type thing, if it helps. Thanks! BTW, I posted here rather than the Equipment forum because this forum seems to be more 'happening'.

There's also a magic item material that will recreate your item if it is sundered, etc.  I'm not sure if it works in every destruction circumstance, but I'm pretty sure it does in most cases: Book of Exalted Deeds The material: Aurorum
