Sep 17, 2008 1:02:22 I have a player somewhat new to the game and I have never built a cleric before and I want to help her set this character up. The campaign is based out of Menzoberranzan where all the characters serve a small but fairly powerful mercenary house. Sh has decided to make a Drow priestess of Lolth with at least a few levels of Arachne a prstige class out of Faiths & Pantheons. The starting level is 10 (LA is already taken care of) Thee books allowed are all Forgotten realms books,Core, Races, Completes (except Complete Champion) no TOB or Incarnum. Also persisted spells have been banned. So what I would like help with is a simple but effective build for her that is powerful but easy to use for a beginner.

Sep 18, 2008 16:40:31 You might actually get a response if you put a little work into it yourself. For instance, post a build of what you're already familiar with, with specific questions about the areas that you lack expertise/want advice in.

Otherwise, you'll get this response: Druid 20.

Sep 19, 2008 0:59:14 The zin carla is a very powerful undead to have animated. It's limited and you stand to lose a lot if it dies so make sure if you use it to keep it with you. Dominate male drow could be fun but the low unscaling dc limits it to just a flavor ability.
