#1 dmjoe Aug 24, 2011 22:40:20	I read somewhere about a build that used a feat I was unfamiliar with. It allowed you to burn two 2nd level spell slots to cast a 3rd level spell. It was used to qualify for a PrC early. What is this feat called, where is it located (and since I don't have the book) could I get a brief rundown of what it does precisely?  Thanks.
#2 Nezkrul Aug 25, 2011 6:43:43	I don't know if you're looking for this one or not, but there is a feat called Versatile Spellcaster, for spontaneous casters, it lets you burn 2 spell slots of the same level to cast a spell you know 1 level higher than the spell slots. Races of the Dragon.  Doesn't let you cast spells you don't have access to or know, which won't qualify you for a class that requires you to be able to cast 3rd level spells.
#3 bill_bisco_average_adventurer Aug 27, 2011 19:12:13	Another good trick is to take Magical Training Feat and then precociouis apprentice, ta-da!  You can cast 2nd level arcane spells.  Then take Sanctum Spell and Zing! you can cast 3rd level arcane spells.  Retrain the feats once you qualify for them with Prcs
