Am I reading this right?

1. Arcane Disciple lets me add the spells from a given domain to my spell list.
2. Choose Luck Domain.
3. Learn Miracle, as it's now on my spell list.
4. Use Miracle to duplicate any other cleric spell that's not 9th level.
5. ???
6. Profit.

Granted, it's a high level tactic, but once you're that level, the cost of one feat + scribing one spell is usually trivial, and for access to an entire class spell list?

Well, it's nice. But do remember you can only cast it once per day, and you also need a wisdom score of at least 19.

Why only once per day? It's not treated any differently from any other spell on my class list, once it gets there. Should be able to prepare it as many times as I want, right?

You're right, Wis 19 is a bit of an issue (but by level 17 not a huge one).

AD specifically says you can only prepare it 1/day.

Ach, now that would do it. Should've read more carefully, it seems.

So...anyone know a deity with Protection and Healing domains?

Torm from the Realms. I think Yondalla does too. You can always go with the Sovereign Host from Eberron for all your domain access needs.

Optimized Shadowcraft Mages with Miracle added in this way can cast it spontaneously, without the XP cost, and with lower level spell slots...

And can do it with every spell slot 1/hour to boot.

You DO know that Wishes and Mircales only DUPLICATE a spell once. Both do not add a spell to your spell list permanently.

You cast miracle, choose any spell up tp level 8, cast it once - and that's it.
