Books available: SRD, splatbooks, FR books, other material admitted on a case-by-case basis. No DMM.

Divine spells available: the Cleric list, special domain spells from domains granted by FR deities, and the Druid list. No ranger, paladin, shugenja, divine bard, southern magician, or other spells available. The DM has ruled that I can choose spells from Oghma's domains (as one of his worshippers) as a function of level advancement.

The premise: a NE dark elf who worships Oghma (rather devoutly) and seeks to expose the hidden secrets of lore-hoarders everywhere. His ultimate ambition: to scribe a linguistical analysis of Druidic and make the work widely available to scholars across the land.

Other notable mechanics: Druidic spells are scribed in Druidic, making them closely guarded secrets that no druid would willingly surrender. Hence the campaign revolves around me hunting down druids, stealing their secrets, and putting them into a book, making sure I get a healthy dose of their powers for myself.

I like minions, undead especially, and I love summoning. I want to fly around invisible, buffing my attacking oak trees and skeletal giants.

Currently level 3, with stats 12/16/14, 16/14/7, and feats Draconic Archivist + Improved Initiative. I'm thinking of making a beeline for Dread Secret at 11th, taking Spell Focus (Conjuration) along the way and finishing Thaumaturgist, ultimately arriving at Archivist 15 / Thaumaturgist 5. The campaign will go to 20.

Open feats are at 6th, 9th, 12th, 15th, and 18th. I've been considering Corpsecrafter, Spontaneous Summoner, Archivist of Nature, Imbued Summoning, and Extraordinary Concentration, in that order. We don't play with skill tricks, and I want a Monolith.

Knowledge Devotion was banned. Leadership was banned.

Ideas?

As leadership is banned, so are undead leadership and apprentice/mentor?

May be Greenbound Summening is nice on the way up, fitting in the concept of stealing the druids knowledge.

Just research the spells and call it a day? Or charm a Warlock?

You make your character sound like a serial killer. So, despite your high intelligence, you're gonna use that stat to fuel your power to brute force your way to Druidic secrets?
If I were smart, I'd probably enchant a Druid into telling me their secrets.
