I thought about Divine Impetus, and what kind of nasty stuff you can do with extra swift actions. my thoughts passed to the belt of battle, but that wasn't very good because you could only wear one. Or so i thought. the DMG have rules for making magic items to fit other body slots. the rules is, it costs 50% more. plain and simple. there are 12 slots on the body, with 2 of them only costing the base price (belt and shirt, because shirt have the same portfolio of powers as belt, read the relevant rules in DMG)
that means we have to pay 17*12k gp, or 104k gp, easily affordable by any high-level character.
Doctor Rocktopus has provided us with an excellent build for the RKV
so, by doing this and that, we're running around with a lot of actions. we can buy more belts of battle to make the thing last longer.
oh, and if we want to be really cheesy, we can make more belts for 24k gp each, and they take up no space on the body. at ECL 20 we can afford 66 belts of battles this way, though i think its better to use the money on slot-filling ones, for more uses per day.

Ioun Stones of Battle.
But, what's your point here?

that.... we get an immense number of actions/round, the only thing(plus initiative) that really matters at high levels. i thought that was obvious.

Well...
1. The crafting rules in DMG are, in fact, optional.
2. Yeah, certain reading of RKV ability gives them as many swifts as they have turn attempts to burn. An alternative, more reasonable reading gives them one per turn. I mean, how many ways can you interpret:
expend a turn or rebuke attempt to gain one additional swift action this round.

It's really not very reasonable to expect more than one extra swift out of it.
Also,
Using a supernatural ability is a standard action unless noted otherwise.

Which, I think everyone is conveniently ignoring. Understandably, perhaps, because if this applies, all DI does is removing the argument of whether you can spend a standard action to do a swift action ( which you should be able to do anyway, based on the definition of a swift action. )
The example used seems to imply that using Divine Impetus is a free action, as it speaks of activating a boost despite using an immediate action last turn, and boosts are kind of useless without a complementing action... unless it's a movement speed boost or somesuch.

So, Crafting rules on + arbitrary wealth = arbitrary amount of actions. This remains true. Now, if you can manage to craft these, say, ioun stones of battle, for zero cost, or close, that's somewhat useful.

hmm, your right.
note to self: must read class features CLOSELY before optimizing them.
about free crafting: wasn't there a thread here about using tools of war and an item of 1/day true creation and craft reserve and retain essence to craft all you want?
