Hi, I have a question regarding the mighty enhancement of a composite longbow.

Is there an option to get a variable mighty enhancement just as

Hanks Bow

www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ask/20...

just without all the force stuff, plain stenght adaption

and mainly where can I find it?

thx a lot

As far as I remember, no there is none, although I think there was a Special Weapon (not enschacement) that could do something like this.

As far as I'm concerned, however, it is possible to increase the "Mighty-value" by craft (bowyer) checks as if you had crafted the bow... as far as I know...

There's the Bow of Ehlonna (spelling?) in one of the completes, can't remember which one but it's a relic that you can get that auto-adjusts for your strength.

Complete Champion Pg 137

Bow of Elvin kind 14,700g

+1comp long bow auto adjusts to the str of any elf who uses it.

If you worship Corellon you get Seeking weapon property and on a crit dc 14 will or target is shaken for 5 rds.

Combine it with a Quiver of elvin (same book)kind to gain the farshot feat.

Magic Item Compendium has a very cheap +1 composite longbow that adjusts to your strength. It is a relic of Corellon Laraethian, but you can get this advantage as long as you are within 1 alignment step of his. It is called Bow of the Wintermoon.

Also, per the rules in the same book on relics, you can upgrade it with further enhancements just like any other magic item.
