#1 rafie_khan Mar 27, 2008 0:05:45	I'm guilty of being a newb. but this is what i really would like to make. Rough around the edges, undiplomatic, arrogant, bar room brawler. I'm looking for this character to really use his fists to dish out the damage as well as decent grapple. I've been looking into a fighter/monk/reaping mauler but I don't like to multi-class to much usually 2 (I'm clueless on multi-classing) and the pre-req for the mauler is ridiculous. Have you ever taken on a size class bigger than yourself one and one 3 times??? only if you're a monk but that just wouldn't fall into my type of story line!!! I'm boggled and I don't have many books. But if you could point me in the right direction, to which books and/or classes I should look into, to give me the character I want? preferably human. CN.

His post is actually saying 3 things. 1) Thats actually a character build that would achieve what you want to do pretty nicely. 2) He's talking over you a little because you're new (a little) and you didn't do #3 (primarily). 3) Read the posting guidelines.

DM doesn't mind having us use things from any book aslong as it is in our library. so PHB1 and 2, complete(Arcane,divine,champion,mage,psyonicist,scoundrel,adventurer,) book of nine swords, psyonics handbook, spell compendium, miniatures handbook,heroes of horror, book of vile darkness and races of the wild. But don't feel like you're restricted, give me any idea and i can run it past the DM to see if i can weasel out of it. :P my party is a 5 man party. always a spellcaster and barbarian. any tips. book. etc would be much appreciated!
#7 darksamuari Mar 27, 2008 2:14:40	Barbarian using Cityscape variants and multiclass into frostrager and say that the ice forming around his fists is sweat and beer. Or you can do the pretty average path that is the Drunken Master.
