Mar 28, 2008 13:23:24 I really like the idea of making bard lich. I will probably be using this as a pwerful NPC that the players will have to get to because he would be the only creature that knows some rare bit of knowledge that they need. My plan is to have a whole musically themed dungeon/castle/whatever based around him/her. There will most likely be a fair amount of undead roaming the place, so if anyone has any good builds for making a bard lich that can control, or maybe just lets them roam freely but takes a feat that lets his bardic music effect the undead I would really appreciate it.

Mar 28, 2008 13:48:14 There is a PrC in Dungeonscape that you should check out. Its for NPC's only. I cant remember the name as I'm AFB, but I think its the Dungeon Master. Or something very similar.

Anyways, you could go along with loremaster as a PrC and then branch out as a Lich.

Mar 28, 2008 15:34:59 Libris Mortis has "dirge singer" for a necromancy-focused bard. That might fit the flavor.

Mar 28, 2008 20:02:14 Dirge Singer is especially nasty as it lets you revive one of the heroes you kill with one of it's musics, and I'm fairly certain they even get Undead Traits while you're controlling them.
