| #2CantripNMar 13, 2010 7:02:27 | Normally songs last 5 rounds after you stop singing. That just adds 5 more. And yes, you can start other songs, and they stack. My own Bard used to have: Inspire Courage +12, Dragonfire Inspiration +12d6 and Inspire Greatness all going at once, and still be able to add one more song for other effects. |
| #3SenevriMar 13, 2010 9:18:08 | Bard songs overlap, not overwrite. In any case, the actual description doesn't say you cannot activate multiple bard songs with multiple standard actions. In 3.0 it was specified that you could have a separate effect going with song and another with instrument (and third by dancing, for an example), but RAW, only spell-casting and triggering items requiring verbal components is prohibited. Keep in mind, Bard Song is something of a misnomer, as it could be beating drums, reciting poems or even dance - in which case, lack of sound wouldn't block it, but lack of line of sight would. |
