Silver Pyromancer PrC (out of Five Nations Ebberon) allows you to add all Paladin spells to your class list, allowing you access to add Paladin spells to your Sorc spells known list (pretty cool). My question is this, Dispel Magic is a 3rd level Paladin and Sorcerer spell, if I take Battle Blessing (all your Paladin spells are cast as swift actions) would that apply to Dispel Magic too? I'm pretty sure it'd apply to the paladin only spells on my list like Cure Moderate Wounds, Death Ward, etc but I'm not sure about Dispel Magic since it's considered both. Thoughts? |

As part of the Silver Pyromancer I get to add all Paladin Spells to my Sorc list, but again looking at the wording it says "you can treat spells from the paladin spell list as though they were arcane spells on the spell list for your arcane spellcasting class," so I don't know if Battle Blessing would apply or not. |

Paladin casting is not the same as paladin spells. Paladin casting is the act of using paladin-class spellslots. |

If you wanna make sure it's even more legal RAW, take the Flaw Restricted Sorcery and lose Abjuration (and say Enchantment) - and then it's only a Paladin spell, and not even a Sorcerer spell. I'm using this trick with my Evoker PC for a while now, and it's awesome, but far from broken, especially considering you lose casting for Silver Pyromancer (in your case, quite a bit (3 levels behind a Wizard, compared to my 1 level behind)). |
