Best Domain Granted Powers for Wizards?

Complete Champion 52 has the Wizard alternative class feature, allowing a Wizard to choose a domain power instead of his level 5 feat. (If he worships a deity, he must pick a domain granted by his deity.)

I picked the Travel domain power for my Conjurer, automatic freedom of movement for 5 rounds per day. Unfortunately, in my Red Hand of Doom game, we kill things too quickly for this to be viable, and I'm typically far enough away from the fray not to need this. I suspect this would help more at higher levels when enemy battlefield controllers are more common, but the one time I could've benefitted from it, I forgot I had it.

What granted powers have you found most useful as a Wizard?

my favorite is luck domain, its basically a once per day do-over, if you roll a natural 1 or any low number, don't sweat it just roll again. And that's per campaign day not session. its a bit metathinking but it can save you.

Treantmonks god wizard guide also suggests the magic domain if you have banned schools "can also use spell trigger items from any school of magic due to the "Magic Domain" granted power".

But i dont really understand how that one works, im sure someone else can explain it.

Pride is better than Luck. Pride lets you reroll multiple natural 1s. Its really good.

i beg to differ, if you roll a 2 or a 3 your just about as bad off as a nat. 1, whit the luck domain you can reroll any number not just 1, also you can reroll not only saving throws but skill checks, attack rolls anything or any dice. maybe you can use it less but it has more applications. i feel saffer whit the luck domain.

Nope, that shan't do. You can take any old luck feat for a reroll. But that fifth level wizard feat can get you so much more. Spontaneous divination? Have to judge it based on what else you could trade that feat for.

Travel domain sucks. It only works against magical effects. It doesn't even work against grappling.

Inquisition domain? +4 on dispel checks :P
it's probably a terrible idea to give up a feat, but its ok if you're a big fan of counterspelling, dispelling etc

Tyranny for enchanters. Spontaneous Divination >> the domains, though.

Magic domain is great, since it means you can use wands/scrolls etc at your wizard level, so all the prohibition on schools does is mean you can't learn the spells...but when you can buy scrolls of contingency to cast it on yourself, its pretty useful.
