Best ways to gain symmetrical archery?

Apr 26, 2008 10:40:10 I am looking for a list of ways to Optimize the Symmetrical Archery (Ex) of the Arrow Demon from MMIII (pg.35)
This is a very useful ability for Archers, especially those not rooted in the traditional archery classes.

I am aware of these methods of entry:

Sun Elf Egotist 8 - (http://forums.gleemax.com/wotc_archive/index.php/t-525295)
Shapechange - PHB (Animal 9, Druid 9, Sor/Wiz 9)
Polymorph - You must have the Otherwordly feat (PGtF) or be an outsider (Neraphim (PH) is that LA 0 Outsider race) Polymorph qualifies for Master Transmogrifist (CA 51) which could net some cool abilities.
Planar Sheperd - 9th level ability of this PrC can be used. (FoE), I do not have this book so I have not confirmed it yet

Next Question: How do we best Optimize Symmetrical Archery? Post your builds...

Builds

Wizard 10 / Master Transmogrifist 10 - Use Polymorph to gain symmetrical archery, Use the Infinite Variety Ability to stack some nice abilities on, grab a really high dex. (More suggestions)

Wujen 20 or Same as above - Same concept but you get to take advantage of Wujen only spells like Giant Size. I don't think you can cast Giant Size while you are polymorphed. Errata?

Factotum 20 - Use Factotum's Arcane Dilettante to use Polymorph(Arrow Demon) + Factotums Cunning Surge Ability + Manyshot + Splitting bow = lots of arrows

Stalwart Sorceror 20 - Free WF, Arcane Disciple(War) for Divine Power
1. True Strike, Enlarge Person
2. Cat's Grace, Mirror Image
3. Haste, Greater Magic Weapon
4. Polymorph, Evard's
5.
6.
7.
8. Reverse Gravity, Prismatic Bow
9. Shapechange, Timestop
(Feel free to post Optimized Spell lists for these character concepts, I used almost all PHB)

Apr 26, 2008 10:47:09 10HD Polymorph for any character with 'Otherworldly'-feat or any natural Outsider (ones exist for +0 LA). Polymorph is available to effectively all characters, so there're no real limitations here.

Neraphim (Planar Handbook) is that LA 0 Outsider race

I will edit up top to include the Master Trans from CA.

Greater Manyshot lets you fire multiple arrows as a standard actionn
9 levels of swiftblade gives you 2 standard actions.

5 arrows per action x 2 bows x 2 double arrows x 2 actions: 40 arrows of death/round.

Apr 26, 2008 15:05:57 A 9th level Planar Shephard (Faiths of Eberron) can Wild Shape into an Arrow Demon. There's an Alternate Ranger in UA that has Wild Shape.

Thanks I am missing my Faiths of Eberron. Is that a 6th lvl entry PrC, so you get the ability at ECL 15?

Apr 26, 2008 20:04:38 There is no restriction on creature type for the spell Wujen Spell Giant size; is it possible to polymorph into an Arrow Demon and then cast Giant Size?

Or any creature for that matter?
