| #1finalbinderhandbookMay 16, 2008 8:48:16 | OK, I need help here, mainly b/c I don't own EoE, nor the Shun/Embrace shuffle. I also don't understand the Cheesewrought Kobold idea that well, either. I figure the community can help me out. Here's link to the True Dilettante thread, Cheesewrought Kobold, and Epic Binders. Here's the basic idea: Dragonwrought Kobold Binder that takes the Epic feat "Bind Additional Vestige" as many times as possible in 20 class levels to get the most vestiges added possible. I'll use Bloodlines to get as much EBL as possible and still try to maintain some amount of viability in actual play. Here's the basis; I'll update as people reply w/ help: Kobold Binder 2 / Sorcerer 1 / Anima Mage 4 / Tenebrous Apostate 2 / KoSS (Tenebrous) 1 / Scion of Dantalion 3 / KoSS +4 / Bloodline 3 Prereq Feats: Dragonwrought, Precocious Apprentice, some metamagic By my calculations, hits EBL 21 at L11, so could take Bind Additional Vestige at least 3 times. Surely this could be better... Help! |

Here's the new basis; I'll update as people reply w/ help: Kobold Binder 2 / Cleric 1 / Anima Mage (Divine Adaptation) 4 / Apostate of the Green Lady 2 / KoSS (The Green Lady) 1 / Scion of Dantalion 3 / KoSS +4 / Bloodline 3 Hits EBL 32 @ L20 Prereq Feats: Dragonwrought, Precocious Apprentice, some metamagic, Improved Binding (all by L3), Weapon Focus (by L9) Gains 7 feats from locations... Sacred Vow @ 6 and VoP @ 12 (gives 5 exalted, or 3 net), Leadership @ 18th (for the trick)... Thats 15 bonus feats for embrace/shun, and 1 free feat, for 16 feats total... all of which could be after EBL 21, L11, or 16 Bind Extra Vestige... Thats a total of 6 vestiges from EBL, 16 from feats, for a total of 22 vestiges simultaneously. Thoughts? edit: Can we embrace/shun weapon proficiencies gained from classes? What about from Vestiges (The Triad)? What about armor proficiencies (Savnok, Haagenti, Aym)? What about other feats (long list)? I'm a bit unclear on this, but we could potentially retrain every single weapon proficiency: we have all martial from KoSS, we have simple from Binder, and we could also have The Triad bound for all exotic. We also could use Haagenti to retrain Tower Shield. |

| #4jameswilliamogleMay 16, 2008 9:51:24 | If one can embrace/shun the magical location feats, it seems reasonable to me that one can do the same with Vestiges that grant feats. So, for low-cost (lose one bonus granted feat from your vestige), you gain another vestige... It would only work if the vestige actually grants the feat, and not just the benefit of the feat, though... |

You might consider using Item Granted Feats (Serpentskin Armor, Sylvan Scimitar, etc.). Nice idea! As for the XP, I'd just have to make sure to keep the vestige bound, and/or keep my cohort nearby. I only need to hit 50 or so feats before I'm able to bind all the vestiges (excluding epic). |
