| #1bak_azten_oli_valrimSep 16, 2008 23:09:02 | I am trying to make a character with immunity to everything, or at least a much as possible. I'm already planning a clay half-golem for piercing and slashing immunity, and since i need to be humanoid for that, i will probably take a class that ends ends transformation to a type with many immunities (currently thinking elemental savant, but suggestions welcome). so anyway, if anyone knows a playable race or class that somehow get bludgeoning immunity, pls tell, thank you. |

| #3natenateSep 17, 2008 0:56:31 | Ocean Giant from MM2 is immune to bludgeoning damage as an extraordinary special quality. Death Knight from MM2 gets all of the typical undead immunities plus a few more, and is outright immune to turn/rebuke undead. |

| #5tshernSep 17, 2008 14:02:13 | Zodar from Fiend Folio is immune to ALL damage that isn't bludgeoning damage. Find a way (Master Transmogrifist?) to grab Ocean giant's immunity to bludgeoning damage. Alternatively you could be a Half-troll half-dragon and make yourself immune to all lethal damage. |

| #8bak_azten_oli_valrimSep 17, 2008 19:19:38 | thank you, i'll probably go with the ocean giant |
| #9totenkinderSep 17, 2008 19:43:23 | thank you, i'll probably go with the ocean giant Don't. It has a +23 LA. With hit dice, a Learnean Multi-headed creature only has around a +8 LA. |
| #10bak_azten_oli_valrimSep 17, 2008 22:35:50 | i know about the learnean, i was thinking about making a lumi one a while back, but then my dm got wind of it and banned lernean creatures, thanks for the advice though |

A pretty costly LA, but less so then an Ocean Giant. |
| #12bauglirSep 18, 2008 13:53:40 | If you can get regeneration somehow, the 8th level class feature of Crimson Scourge (Cityscape) makes you immune to nonlethal damage. A troll is ECL 11, so all you need to do is figure out how to get Acid and Fire immunity pre-Epic without being a spellcaster. |
| #13tshernSep 18, 2008 14:00:48 | Don't. It has a +23 LA. Whaaat? Where are these dudes from? |
| #14totenkinderSep 18, 2008 14:53:27 | Whaaat? Monster Manual II and Savage Species? |
| #15tshernSep 18, 2008 14:56:11 | Wonder what on earth actually justifies that +23 LA. That monster looks really crappy. |
| #16totenkinderSep 18, 2008 15:34:25 | Wonder what on earth actually justifies that +23 LA. That monster looks really crappy. The Ocean Strider has over a +30 LA |
| #17bak_azten_oli_valrimSep 18, 2008 15:57:11 | the ocean giant isn't really 23 LA, that number includes its rather hefty HD |
| #18tshernSep 18, 2008 18:17:41 | the ocean giant isn't really 23 LA, that number includes its rather hefty HD Aye, I realized that, but couldn't edit my post because of the maintenance. |
