Bow that makes no noise when shot

Jan 25, 2010 16:23:10 I have been working on a sniper style character, and I seem to remember a magic bow somewhere that made no noise when shot. I have been looking through various books but have been unable to find it. Does anyone know what this bow is called and which book I can find it in?

Jan 25, 2010 17:04:51 I assumed they didn't make noise in the first place for the purposes of mechanics.

Jan 26, 2010 2:23:24 mongoose publishing has bowstring silencer think its like 25 gp and makes your bow make no noise at all but drops your range like 10 feet. Think it is out of the more ultimate equipment.

I seem to remember, or my mind is going on homebrew transits again, spells that allow for silence and the like...

Jan 28, 2010 12:09:01 There is the Stalker's Bow in Weapons of Legacy; it's a shortbow however. The omen is that it makes no noise whatsoever. It also fits in with the sniper theme.
