Okay. Going for a druid (non evil) who uses vermin in some way. Here's what I got so far.

(Sorry about the messy and scattered layout.)

Jungle Strongheart Halfling Druid with the sub levels from Races of the Wild. Vermin = poisons and jungle (UA) grants poison use (along with short bow Prof.) so I can milk my pets.

I'm swapping out the normal casting for Divine Spontiuity (UA) for two reasons.

-1 It brings the power of the druid down a little bit.

-2 It's less book keeping for me and more fun.

I'm also swapping Wild Shape for one of its variants. I want to have buggy friends, not BE a bug.

The Halfling Druid sub levels make riding a better option so I'll go that route. The only suitable "vermin" I've found that won't eat up my feats is from Waterdeep: City of Splendors. The Watch Spider is a medium magical beast spider. Int of 2 so plenty of tricks, and it says it can be used by a druid as a companion. Also it comes with D10 HD instead of D8s and a Str damaging poison, but is a hunting type spider, so while listing web under special attacks, I'm not sure if it can use them in combat.

So mounted on my spider, I now have to contribute in combat. I don't have access to prof with a lance unless I use the weapon groups from UA. Druids can take the spear group and get lances (I just don't know how this will effect the Jungle Halflings granted weapon Profs). That is one option, and with my taking down the Druids power maybe I can get this. If not then I can waste a feat, multiclass, or get a magic lance. Can I charge upside down across a ceiling I wonder?

Armor and equipment should be either chitin or spider silk. I'll be listing what I find later. (Anyone have any idea what skills for harvesting and processing from my mount? Also poison milking.)

Feats for the druid: Mounted Combat, Spirited charge, Natural Bond (depending on DMs interpretation)

Feats for the mount: Spit Venom, deadly spittle, Ability Focus: Poison. Imp. Natural attack: Bite

Children of the winter, from ECS, would aloud you to summon and/or train vermins (treating them as animals with an INT of 2), and would also, technically, aloud you to apply Greenbound Summonning, from LEoF, to your vermin summons. This may result in Guillermo del Toroish summons, wich is always a plus.

I hadn't thought of that. Thanks!
