| #1ancientdragonNov 03, 2008 14:08:19 | Hi there! I've nothing to do, so I'm thinking about one of my favourite buids... I came out with this, even if I'm not so sure of its regularity. Brave Cavalier of Corellon: Wood Elf Dex: 36/+18 [18 base + 2 race + 11 equip + 5 aug] Build: Warblade 7/Champion of Corellon Larethian 3/Ethernal Blade 10 Feats: 1,3,6) Two Weapons Fighting 9,12) Deadly Charge(not sure aboot the name) & Prereq. 15) Leadership Equip: 2 Small Cavalier Lances, +1 Fast Valorous Fierce Fiery Frozen of the Ghost Touch Gloves of Dex +6, Tome of Dex +5 Belt of Battle Arms of the Naga Horse 8D Cohort: Any from ToB that can get White Raven Tactics Tactic: Let's charge our enemy: we'll have the following attacks. +20/+15/+10/+5/+18/+13/+8/+20/+20/ use Time Stands Still +20/+15/+10/+5/+18/+13/+8/+20/+20/ then activate your BoB and recover TST. Take the round given by Ethernal Blade and do the same thing: +20/+15/+10/+5/+18/+13/+8/+20/+20/ +20/+15/+10/+5/+18/+13/+8/+20/+20/ Take the round that your cohort will grant you via White Raven Tactics and repeat: +20/+15/+10/+5/+18/+13/+8/+20/+20/ +20/+15/+10/+5/+18/+13/+8/+20/+20/ Adding bonuses... +18 Dex +2 Charge +1 Bonus... Our lesser attack will be done at +26 bonus and it'll be a touch attack. Not bad uh? Let's see damages: Our lances are wield with two hands (one of ours and one of the naga :P) so we add Dex *1,5. Dex (added thanks to fierce enhanchment) +27 Dex (added via CoC) +27 Enhanchment +2 Other Enhanchments 2d6 *2 valorous -> *3 deadly charge -> *4 cavalier lance = 248 Damages per attack = 13.390 damages... not bad, seen that i did it in about twenti minutes? Please find the feat name you mean... deadly charge is a Cavalier2 ability. What is a cavalier lance and where did you find it? Are you sure the naga arms can wield their own lance? The description said they don't allow iterations. Since the Elegant strike seems to work like precision damage, why would a two-handed wielding be 1.5*dex? Also wouldn't "dexterity bonus" be the dex mode, not the dexterity score - 10? That is for both elegant strike and fierce enchantment. Also I don't allow White Raven Tactics (it can nearly give infinite actions if abused) nor do I allow cohorts even without cohorts having cohorts. Leadership basically gives you 2 heroes instead of 1 at the price of what, a single feat? Speaking of overpowered... "Ethernal blade" [sic] comon... Island in Time is the very definition of broken, moreso than manipulate form. X 10 / Eternal Blade 10 can kill anything 1v1 simply because they can ignore initiative... I feel like this is Magic The Gathering and we have a Stack to see whose Interrupt Card gets to trump all the others... |

| #4carnivoreNov 04, 2008 4:03:46 | i like the idea: Warblade 7/ Champion of Corellon Larethian 3/ Ethernal Blade 10 but Champion of Corellon does not give Dex to damage with Lances ..... and Weapon Aptitude from Warblade only applies to Feats that are applicable to weapons, not Class Abilities .... Notice: Weapon Aptitude (Ex): Your training with a wide range of weaponry and tactics gives you great skill with particular weapons. You qualify for feats that usually require a minimum number of fighter levels (such as Weapon Specialization) as if you had a fighter level equal to your warblade level -2. For example, as a 6th-level warblade, you could take Weapon Specialization, since you're treated as being a 4th-level fighter for this purpose. These effective fighter levels stack with any actual fighter levels you have. Thus, a fighter 2/warblade 4 would also qualify for Weapon Specialization. and 2nd: Elegant Strike – add your Dexterity modifier to your damage (in addition to your Strength modifier) with any of the following weapons: Longsword, Rapier, Elven Thinblade, Elven Lightblade, Elven Courtblade, or Scimitar. The foe must be vulnerable to Sneak Attack or Critical Hits to take the extra damage. :D |
| #5ancientdragonNov 04, 2008 10:51:25 | yup! You're right. We've a little small damage... it's still ok i think... It may be improved, I'm sure. We're a Warblade 10/Ethernal Blade 10, just a Fighter 20 is straghter than this! C'mon! |
