#1 zombiegleemax Mar 22, 2008 16:11:29	Okay, so I'm GMing a vigilante campaign and one of my players complains about the ToB characters in the game, and how they can use "heavy-hitting abilities" over and over without limit. I told him the rules for each class refreshing their maneuvers, and he still thinks they're too high-powered (this is especially funny coming from my group's biggest powergamer, who deals almost twice as much damage as the ToB characters do in one round.) He also believes that melee characters and spellcasters are on-par (and doesn't seem to understand just how broken a Cleric can get [hence why I don't allow Divine Metamagic and Divine Power in my games]). I simply wish to prove a point, mainly to stop him from whining about how powerful the ToB characters seem, but though I might better understand what's more powerful he has more books... and more material to draw from. ... and so I put forth this humble request; Could you guys come up with, or provide links to the following: 1. The most broken martial adept build (that's not pun-pun). 2. The most broken build emphasizing Fighter (that's not pun-pun). 3. The most broken arcane spellcaster build (that's not pun-pun). 4. The most broken divine spellcaster build (that's not pun-pun). I don't really need all of them; just one will do (though the first two would be excellent). I simply would like something from the pro's. :P Thanks! Note: There probably isn't a "the most broken" out of any of the above, but what I'm looking for is an example of an extraordinarily high-powered build. Second note: I'm not actually going to use these in the game. I'm simply going to show the player the builds and tell him what they can do.

The most broken build emphasizing Fighter (that's not pun-pun). No idea what is the most broken one, but aelryinth's Lockdown comes close to being the ultimate Fighter. Well, some charger builds do a lot more damage, but are not nearly as useful. 3. The most broken arcane spellcaster build (that's not pun-pun). LordofProcrastination's Beholder Mage, Tleilaxu_Ghola's Arcane nova and such. Infinite spells, infinite actions and whatnot. 4. The most broken divine spellcaster build (that's not pun-pun). While not the most broken one, Funny Slaughter's Cheater of Mystra is a nice base build from which to extrapolate.

Fighter: I do believe the uber charger falls into this. Arcane Spellcaster: Odds are that this one goes to incantatrix for practical play.
