Right now I'm running a Human Psion(Egoist)5/ Thrallherder 1 and I'm looking to select my 5th level thrall. My build is pretty effective as it is and I'm not looking to have my thrall boost my characters effectiveness any higher. The rest of the group is not all that optimized and I don't need anymore power per se. However the party does lack healing, party buffs, and large scale battlefield control.

The rest of the party: (all 6th level) Dwarf Fighter, Dwarf Ranger/Fighter, Human Enchanter, Elf Monk, Halfling Rogue, and my character. We are really effective against single opponets.

I'm not looking for a build that will outshine anyone but one that will boost everyone to be better at what they do and maybe some battlefield control thrown in there. Any suggestions? (Full builds not required but appreciated)

Peace,
Necro

Druid 5 ... seems to work well ..... Entangle is great Battlefield Control, Summon Natures Ally III can get you 1d4+1 Wolves to help individual Party members(Aid Another, Flanking,etc...), they can Cure also .... and can look out for themselves(Wild Shape, Animal Companion)

That might be a bit much to manage. What about a Divine Mind? Those aruas would be helpful to the group at large. And in the homebrew campaign that I'm in the Creation aura (healing 1hp/10 minutes) would be huge, as this world has contructs and clockwork out the ying-yang.

try this:

Marshal 3/ Warlock 2/ Chameleon 10 .... then finish with more Warlock levels

this way you can customize it everyday if needed ... but it still Buffs the entire party.... and can fill any role needed

I would seriously consider sneaking a level of cloistered cleric in there.  3 domains/devotions and turn undead is just too much to past up for a chameleon build.

From what I've heard, a Divine Mind fails at its primary purpose.  A Druid is a lot of bookkeeping, but tremendously versatile.

Petal Marshal 3. Small flyer with good mental stats. Race only available for cohorts at +2 without the DM having to fix the ECL.

Normally mixed with rogue for scouting purposes but also ok for cha casters for battlefield control. Alternatively ignore the stat synergies and mix with cleric for battlefield control + healing
