| #1boyankalashJun 19, 2013 17:19:25 | So I was wondering how best to build a character around the idea of using mostly combat maneuvers like bull rush and trip to create a build that would deal high damage and hopefully keep foes incapacitated or at least constantly busy with getting up off the ground and such so as to minimize their own offensive capability. Outside of using the Shock trooper feat from complete warrior along with improved trip, are there any prestige classes or other feats/equipment I should look into using? |

Bull rushing is rarer and almost always built around Dungeon Crasher (google Up Against The Wall). See the Pinball Brothers in my signature for an example of a build that links both together. |

Yeah thats pretty much all of the basics of what I would be looking for. I'm curious as to whether post level seven in your build if it would be worth possibly going into the horizon walker prestige class for six levels to get the dimension door ability? Or would it be better to just pick up a magic item down the the road to duplicate a similar effect to improve mobility? |

Or other free movement ones. In the Pinball Brothers case there's Hustle (dorje+wand chamber) as a cheap and effective example, along with the usual items from the MIC (anklets of translocation, etc). Note that Dimension Door ends your turn, while these abilities still allow a full attack afterwards. Besides, check the class skills. Geography ain't there. So not only are there much better options, they wouldn't qualify. |

I've been out of the hobby for over a year due to alot of travel and such so I'm a bit rusty on a few things. Thanks again for all the advice its pretty much exactly what I was looking for. |
