Cambion as character

Mar 19, 2010 11:20:09		Hello, I saw the cambion in the "expedition to demonweb pits'.

But the cambion as character section didn't detail because there aren't the spell-like abilities, qualities ...

So if someone can detail this, I could verify if I won't forget.

Do the alternate form permit an unique shape ?  For example, if the character choose a drow, the character can only change in a drow ?

I'm interesting by Baron or Marquis. what is the difference ?

What class must I choose to have an advantage from Charisma, Wisdom ?

I limited by a ECL 12. So only a level class.

For the skills as outsider, there aren't an error ? I believe it was : 8 + Intelligence modifier.

That's a good point. Further, a creature with 6 HD should have a total of 9x the number of skill points he receives each level, not 8x.

Also, what do those ability score adjustments have to do the ability scores in the entry? Why are some of the adjustments odd numbers?

Yes, skill points are wrong, should be 9 x (8+INT).

Odd ability modifiers should not exist. Not sure how to fix that. That should either be Str +8, Dex +6, Con +6, Int +2, Wis -4, Cha -6 (taken from the stat block) or —+4 Str, +2 Dex, +2 Con, –4 Wis (minimum 3), –10 Cha (minimum 2) (very conservatively evened out the odd boni).

Favored class: Assassin? That doesn't make sense - prestige classes never count for multiclass XP penalties. Should probably be Rogue instead.

See page 169: you get higher stat adjustments and Charm Person at will.

Yes, your 6 HD already qualify Cambions from the get-go. However, unless it's a Baron or Maquis, your Leadership score is going to be something awful.
