| #3CantripNApr 19, 2008 15:16:08 | Perhaps not purchase, but the "Wealth by Level" guidelines in the DMG state that it's part of a PC power, and should it go above or below that sum, the DM should tweak treasure or CR accordingly. |

You mean like character wealth by level? I am not sure I understand the question completely. You want me to point out something that says you can buy stuff out of the book as if you had gathered it over time, or that you can just lump all your money together and spend it on one big shiny thing? Actually thanks all... this comes from a friend who frequents the What's a DM to do thread that said come check it out and help.
