Can someone help optimize my Warforged?

Sep 16, 2008 14:32:15 This is for an ECL 30 campaign mind you.

So far: Multifaced Warforged Warblade 20/Fighter 5/Warforged Soldier 5.

House rules: one free LA, a bonus feat at first level, flaws and traits are acceptable, homebrew material is allowed after review.

Multifaced is a dumbed down version of the Multi-headed template from Savage species, it's LA +1 and it only really grants Combat Reflexes as a bonus feat and Superior Two-Weapon Fighting.

Warforged Soldier is a variant of Warforged Juggernaut that drops all the charge-related abilities in favor of fighter bonus feats.

What I've taken so far:

Feats:

Robilar's Gambit-Player's Handbook II
Two-Weapon Fighting
Improved Two-Weapon Fighting
Greater Two-Weapon Fighting
Perfect Two-Weapon Fighting-Epic Level Handbook
Improved Combat Reflexes-Epic Level Handbook
Double Hit-Miniatures Handbook

I'm basically looking for a full BAB AoO, TWF specialist.

I'd be grateful for any help.

Sep 16, 2008 17:39:02 Odd levels of Fighter are not your friend. I'd go with either 2, 4, or 6 levels of it. You may also want to consider straight Warblade 30. I haven't seen an epic progression for warblade, but a custom one could probably have an epic bunus feat every 3 levels. You should be able to fit in the feats you selected without the fighter levels anyway. In terms of feats, Karmic Strike and maybe Stormguard Warrior.

Use the Asian weapon in the DMG, Kurasi-gama, a light one handed spiked chain.

Very effective.

I'd give you another build but I used it to **** off my DM who wanted a OVER powered campaign(free 10 LA) I had a 26 (Con) as highest stat (some guy had 62 STR without magic items, six arms, was huge and grappled (+47 mod), had a huge amount of HP and damage, lvl 1) but it wouldnt work for you at all (was a souleater/lockdown/sneaky guy with VoP).

But yea, go with lockdown or Uber Charger, I just love those.

Sep 17, 2008 17:24:39 I'll second the choice of kusari-gama. Or the chain lash from Savage Species, which works identically. Might as well have reach, for some more fun with AoO's.

Come to think of it, if you're not using multiclass XP penalties, I would consider going Warblade 28/Crusader 1/Swordsage 1. For those single level dips, you'll get a bunch of extra 8th level manuevers in schools the Warblade doesn't have easy access to. Theat's probably better than the extra feats unless you're hurting for 'em.
