I'm researching Eberron and Factotum stuff, and naturally everything that springs up around them. Such as the Chameleon prestige class which has been suggested as a good option for the Factotum. I don't recall this prestige class nor know where to find it, nor likely have the book for it. If anyone could pen down the specifics of the prestige class I'd be greatly appreciative. The same for Heir of Siberys if you can find it (Should be in "Dragonmarked" probably)

I'm not giving you class-specific info more than linking you to www.crystalkeep.com, which holds some basic info on everything. In addition, I provide you with knowledge on what book it is in: Races of Destiny. Very first PrC in the book, to boot.

Races of Destiny eh? No wonder I've never seen it. Thanks, and I'll take a look at the site.

Chameleon is in races of destiny. It can take on attributes of different classes at the beginning of each day. Posting specifics breaks copyright which is bad on the OFFICIAL site. You can ask on a different forum of course or try to obtain a pdf of the book using such morally ambiguous ways like bit torrent, however such actions are probably detrimental to the growth of the game so you shouldn't do it.

@Chameleon: ...Dude.

In regards to copyright blurbs. I certainly wouldn't buy the book without seeing if there was a single useful thing in it. ;)

Heir of Siberys - Eberron Core Sourcebook, Page 80

Just found an index that says this and very very little else lol.

Temporary thread takeover: Do chameleons count as spellcasters for the purpose of other Prestige classes? i.e. can you continue their progression via mystic theurge, or use their spells to qualify for the prestige class of the same name?

I doubt this though, since this would lead to an interesting problem. Would you add two levels of spellcasting per level of MT, since it increases the class level as if you had gained a level in it twice?

Haha, alrighty. I had been wondering that and even after reading over the entire prestige class a few times I couldn't quite get it.

My bad...

Chameleon is located here free as an excerpt

For future reference type in "prestige class index", "feat index", and "monster index" into google. The first result is the WOTC index of all the feats, prcs, or monsters ever made for 3.0 and 3.5 in book form (no dragon no web material.) They list the book source in the index. Very handy.
