So after digging around for a fighter type....

Was looking at warshaper and saw that the only prerequisites where +4 bab and one of the following. The only one that stood out was the shape changer subtype.... well i took a look at changelings and saw that they had the shape changer subtype.

So I relised that they could take there first level of warshaper at 5th. 1 level earlyer then most.

Is there any way to abuse this?
I can see things like being in an alternate form (seeing as changlings can stay in there new form indefinetly) and as a move action can keep growing more natural weapons.

But are there other ways to abuse it?

I played a Changeling Monk 6/ Warshaper 4/ Pious Templar and it was a pretty effective character. I also took the monk's Holy Strike acf from Complete Champion.

just use the Search feature at the top of this forum..... it will give at least 4 pages of threads that have something to do with Warshaper

yes Changelings qualify for early entry into the PrC .... yes the PrC is very handy for certain types of builds ..... and some DMs might allow you to continue growing extra arms as many as you like(many reasonable DMs wont)

hope this helps

it isnt either extreme .... it is simply a useful PrC ... usually i will use it for a 2 level dip.... for any character that uses shapechanging abilities(Polymorph, Wildshape,etc....) they give a lot while not impacting on the build too much(you only will lose 2 caster levels)

if you are a Martial Character(fighter, Ranger, Paladin,etc...), 4 levels is a great investment, especially if you focus on Unarmed or Natural Attacks
