| #1rparaviciniMar 04, 2009 15:09:21 | I'm going to play in an upcoming Eberron game, and want to try something new: a non-caster! As we all know, charging is the way to deal masses of damage, I'll go that way and try squeeze charging for every drop. Now the all time favorites are already on my list somewhere: * Pounce (CC Lion Totem) * Whirling Frenzy (UA Variant) * Shock Trooper (CW tactical feat) * Valorous weapon (CoV or some other FR splatbook) * Leap Attack (UE feat) * Flay Foe (CoR feat) I'll use Double Scimitar and Revenant Blade for Dual 2h-weapon-ing, so changing the weapon is no option. I dont want to rely to heavyly on riding, so Spirited Charge and Ride-by-Attack would be nice (especially if there'd be an item out there that gave e access to those feats). Any ideas on items or feats (prolly even aquired templates) that I could use that I haven't mentioned? I planed to take Frenzied Berserker, but as another player will get it (prolly 4 levels earlier than me) I could switch those out to let him be the only FB and dont know if +BAB*2 to damage is worth 10 levels and 2 (useless) feats. He can prolly inspire frenzy as soon as I could take my first FB level, so I mostly wont even loose the bonuses. So I could get 10 free levels if there are other PRCs out there that would help. Access to basically every DnD resource as long as its 3.5 (or unupdated 3.0) material (even third party would be ok), just want to refrain from using ToB (personal reason). Thanks in advance! |

You can also get pounce and natural weapons from that, and one vestige gets you a bunch of mounted combat stuff, when you need it. And you get tons of versatility. Look here for specific build ideas: http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=784085 |

Now, if you can manage to stay neutral, doing a Barbarian 2 / Binder 13 / Knight of Sacred Seal 5 will be quite good, too. Can you use LA buyoff, or Bloodline levels? Both Karsite (under the former) and a minor bloodline (for the latter) will help out the build. We could also do a non-binder charger, but this has been done quite a bit (check out the "handy links" thread stickied at the top of this forum). I've played 5 Binders, 2 from L1-L21, both went the charging route, and I found it to be quite rewarding. |
