This crusader uses a glaive and focuses on attacks of opportunity with Combat Reflexes, Stand Still, and the like. I heard Charisma is handy for crusaders, but since the character has no maneuvers with saves, the only uses I see are for the crusader's smite and extra turn attempts. (The character isn't made to use social skills.) Wisdom's main use seems to be clerical spells. Current Stat Allocations (28 Point Buy): 14/14/14/8/12/14. Suggested Stat Allocations (28 Point Buy): 14/16/14/8/14/8. Build Plan: Crusader4/Cleric1 of an ethos (Travel and Undeath domains)/Ruby Knight Vindicator5/Crusader+1/RKV+5/Crusader+3/Swordsage1 I feel like the 14 base CHA is going to waste since the soonest he can benefit from converting turning attempts to maneuvers. (At RKV2, character level 7, he can spend a turn attempt as a swift action to recover a spent maneuver.) The 12 base WIS is OK and 8 base INT is just enough to get him the skills for RKV in time, but I feel the extra points could make his WIS 15 so he wouldn't need to wear an item to cast his highest-level spells or make his DEX 16 to use another AoO. |
