| #1cole_caecusApr 30, 2010 5:12:19 | Can i cleave off of something if i kill it with an Attack of Oppurtunity? I believe i can, since Cleave states that 'When you drop something to 0 or below hitpoints, then you get an immediate attack on someone within reach'. I believe you can, as i see no reason why you couldnt, but my DM was a little curious at whether you could or not. Also, on a side note, can you use more than one template on a creature? In this particular case, can you use both the Shadow Walker template from Unnaproachable East and the Dark template from ToM? |
| #2cruApr 30, 2010 5:17:00 | Q: If an opponent provokes an attack of opportunity from a character with the Cleave feat which kills that opponent, can that character then attack another opponent within 5 feet with his Cleave feat? A: Assuming that the character possessing the Cleave feat has not taken advantage of this feat already this round, they most certainly can take the extra attack on an opponent they threaten, after dropping the opponent that provoked an attack of opportunity. www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ask/20...
And yes, you can usually use multiple templates, provided you qualify for them |
