Cleric blaster?

Jan 08, 2009 22:11:41 Are there any good cleric blaster build? I realize blasting is generally reserved for arcane casters like sorcerer, but I'm curious if it was possible for a cleric to be a blaster as well. The current party already has a druid, who will be a well-rounded character that will fill in holes wherever needed, including healing. Because of that, my build doesn't need to focus purely on healing, although it's very important, so I was looking for some blaster builds. physical damage is just not my thing, and I know clerics are great at it, but any help would be appreciated.

Virtually all books are allowed, but this cleric will not be evil, so no evil spells/feats/race/etc please. I couldn't find much info on blaster clerics, presumably because that's not their forte, but please help

Also, Cloistered Cleric -> Shadowcraft Mage. WARNING: High levels of optimization.
Also, have you read the Player's Guide to Healing? If you don't like to play the healer, you don't have to!

So at level 11 assuming the following
+Persisted Darkfire
+Persisted Divine Power
+TWF feat
+Gloves of the balanced Hand (an item that gives ITWF if you have TWF)
+Rapid Shot feat
+Haste effect from something.
+Metamagic Rod of maximize.
3+2+1+1=7 attacks at 30 damage each equals 210 damage. One level of Sanctified One of Kord would make it 210 unresistable damage.

Now when you start to get higher levels replace darkfire with fireseeds (take the right domain and use the spontaneous domain option in phb).

What prc is this?

It is called the Sanctified One and is located in complete champion. Now what abilities you get depend on which deity you worship, kord as one of its abilities allows you to make all fire damage divine and thus non resistable damage. You lose a caster level though and need bab of 5, no divine casting required though.
