| #1casualgathererMay 29, 2009 12:05:16 | I would like help building a Cleric of Zeus. the requirements have changed slightly, So that it now requires Weapon Focus (Javelin) and either Skill Focus: Knowledge (religion) or True Believer. It also requires you to worship Zeus, as this is a greek campaign. It is preferred to be human, and that isn't exactly a problem, i just have to ask first. Cleric of Zeus 5/ Stormlord 1/ Divine Oracle 9 (taking Stormlord, for the extra caster levels and the abilities.) And then... what? I need help fleshing this build out past level 6 or so. I was thinking Contemplative, but Zeus in this kinda homebrew setting is pretty bad. Currently his domains are Air, Chaos, Competition, Pride, Storm and Weather. If i went contemplative though, the build would be Cleric 5/Stormlord 1/Divine Oracle 9/Contemplative1/DO+1/C+4, for a total of 10 stormlord, 6 contemplative and 10 divine oracle levels. |

| #3casualgathererMay 29, 2009 12:36:18 | No. It should be Contemplative +3. Part of the reason i want something better... those 4 levels aren't bad, but aren't great. |

| #5casualgathererMay 29, 2009 13:22:29 | Fatespinner requires Arcane spells, doesn't it? I'll check right now. How do people feel about reserve feats? currently, for feats the character looks like this... H: Skill Focus: Knowledge (Religion) 1: Weapon Focus: Javelin 3: Extend Spell 6: DMM 9: Persist Spell 12: Extra Turning 15/18: FREE So, there is room for some higher level reserve feats, and at that point, they might be worth it. EDIT: yes, Fatespinner needs arcane casting of 4th level. |
