Hey guys i was wondering what are some solid prestige classes for a melee oriented cleric. Full casting is not required but always wanted. This will be used in a gestalt build and i'm mainly only looking for a few ideas on what i should look into myself. Thanks for your time.

thanks for the reply, but unfortunatly it doesn't really help me. I should have mentioned this in my first post but i already have a good idea on who my diety is. This cleric will warship Fharlanghn. So while that PrC is very nice, i don't qualify.

If you plan on playing up the 'Luck' side of the Farlanghan worship, you may like Fortune's Friend from Complete Scoundrel. Gives bonus luck feats and 2/5 spellcasting, among other things.

I think Windwalker from F&P should work fairly well. Divine Disciple (you can import it easily, it has nothing FR-specific), can work too, and the UA prestige ranger can be okay-ish if you can live with a serious hit to your CL.

I second Divine Disciple, forgot about that one. If you can import it (it's a generic priest PrC), that works for almost any straight cleric build.

(Cloistered) Cleric 6/ Divine Oracle 4/ Contemplative 10, get Evasion, Uncanny Dodge, extra domains, immunities, Timeless Body, etc. You can even visit the Frog God's Fane from Complete Scoundrel to get Skill Focus: Knowledge: Religion for free to qualify for Divine Oracle. All it takes to qualify for both of those is max ranks in Knowledge: Religion, you won't have to spend any feats, just cast Lesser Planar Ally at least once by level 10 to qualify for the special prerequisite of Contemplative.

Master of Shrouds!!!!

To a lesser extent, Church Inquisitor (since it's also early entry).
