#1 tomodatchi May 29, 2009 15:27:01	I have been given the chance to play a 1 off side adventure with a cohort as a character. DMG leadership score = 19. Level of char = 14. That would make lvl of cohort 12th. Looking for Lawful Evil, with a strong Dragon influence. Its a greyhawk setting with most books available to that setting. Allowed up to 4 levels adj. Thinking cleric>talon?
#2 awaken_D_M_golem May 29, 2009 16:11:20	Cohorts - show up with Race (singular) and Class (singular) ... everything else set by the DM. But that is at the moment the Cohort first shows up. Cohorts technically don't have to do anything , except follow the direction(s) of the respected Leader. So this is mostly a role-playing exercise. CO-ing ?? Cleric is still a CoDzilla. Even if the first few levels of feats are sucky, he has 7 or 8 levels to PHB2 Retrain them into whatever. Same goes for bad spell choices. I'd pick a Cleric 12 build from the Cleric guide, and be done with it. Don't forget to double role play, the cleric restrictions, AND the following the Leader's directions. "talon" I can't help you there. What is that? Maybe a language gap / translation problem. More info ??
