| #1Slad_ChaosJul 13, 2008 17:07:11 | Hello, how do the improved power attack (from frenzied berserker) function with Combat brute ? + 4 (FB) x 3 (two-handed weapon with combat brute) = + 12 per penalty point for the attack ? Thanks for your future answer. |

Combat Brute increases the the power attack bonus by 1.5 (1.5 instead of 1 for one handed, 3 instead of 2 for twohanded fighting). Together this should bring you a +6 bonus per point of power attack. Mounted bonuses like using a lance, spirited charge or both give a flat multiplier to your damage and shouldn't interfere with the bonus on power attack. This would mean that charging with a lance on a leaping horse could give you (1d8+str+(6ppa))*3 damage if you use it twohanded. You should ask your DM about the combination of leap attack and your horse though. You might get a lot of different answers though as I believe this has been debated here quite a bit but couldn't find a respective thread to guide you. |
