| #1cloerFeb 15, 2009 15:37:44 | I need help whit ideas for a spellcaster that has a gimmick, im not looking for a mage that has several different spells for various or any situations, i whant a character that uses his magic to do something i.e a gimmick. (no direct damage sorcerer though) focusing on a select few spells is preferential. examples would be using alter self to tun into a combat monster, or using a precise combo of spells, summoning an interesting creature. im looking for a character thats even more focused at what he does even more that a focused specialist. i just whant to do one or two things really really really well. so let your creativity free can be sorcerer or mage, doest have to be the primary spellcaster of the party so im free to do whatever , any 3.5 books allowed any ideas welcome thx |

All of his spells were thematically appropriate (ie: stinking cloud was a lot of black pepper, burning hands was both an attack and a creme brulee torch, etc.) He was funny to play with, and reasonably effective. He took a bumch of ranks in Profession: Cook, too. At least the party always ate well... |
