i was reading the soul eater handbook and that gave me a few ideas, i have been toying whit this character concept. I was thinking of playing this chaotic evil character that no one in my party knows is evil, i may talk to my DM and propose that e tie him in to a story line or just let him be in the party creating trouble and getting them in sticky situations. I have two main questions

1)has anyone tried this in your gaming group, and what is your experience playng a evil character in a good party, does it create many problems how do other players react (remember the other player wont know my character intentions maybe the DM will have them roll a sence motive on me or something).

2)what class and prc are appropriate, i was thinking a sort of anibal lecter/joker/freddy krugger character that goes completely crazy once in a while, maybe a barbarian/bard or barbarian/monk, barbarian/rogue his weapons should be either unarmed or dagger, kukri, scythe or something small like that. Non caster (no magic). the reason i like barbarian is because of the rage ability fits into the personality and i think theres a prc that you go crazy and attack anyone incluging alies or something. medium size humanid no aberrations and the like. he wont be in it for the money he just whants to go in a blaze of glory. also just because hes a barbarian doesnt mean i will play him like a barbarian (uneducated half orc) i just like the class abilities

any help is apreciated

Deformity (Madness) from Elder Evils I believe is the best thing for this type of character I'd imagine.

I will be using an elan Souleater for a similar role. He will worship an elder evil and take the Willing Defeormity and Deformity (claws) thing. Kind of a King of Smack thing but with negative levels instead.
