Hi all I need some help with creating/optimizing a charcter concept. In this case it's Princess Zelda from the Legend of Zelda (duh). I have seen many threads about Link but none about her and I thought she might make cool conceptual charcter. That and I already have a link build I am playing (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=845825 for those who migt be curious. After reading over the wiki page it seems the only abilities she has shown are competence with a bow and arrow, possible fencing experience and her magic, most likely drawn from the Triforce (A divine relic). I was thinking Female High elf cleric with the oracle domain. However I am having trouble figuring out how to put the overall chassis together since they give me so maddinegly little to go on about her powers. Any and all help/crituqe will be highly apprecaiated. Thanks in advance!
PS. its D&D 3.5, any books except ToB and psionics are allowed, flaws are allowed and bloodlines but he requests we go no stronger than an intermediate strength one.

The elf domain (Spell Compendium, p273) gives point blank shot as a bonus feat. It too is a staple of cleric archers, though more-so for prerequisites than the actual benefits of the feat.
As always, I hate the penalty to consideration most elven subraces have. You might want to choose one of the subraces that shifts the penalty to intelligence or charisma. Alternately, you could go with half-human elf (Dungeon Master's Guide, p171). That gets you elven weapon proficiencies with no ability score adjustments. Dexterity isn't doing much for you anyway if you go the zen archery rout.

Things made a LOT more sense after that. (For example, Link as a Gestalt Fighter/Ranger (no-spell variant), rather than an underpowered multi-class). But you asked about Zelda, so here's my build. (In Eberron, btw) 12 Gestalt levels currently, but you can obviously built from there.
Half-elf from the Valenar elves. (Link is a half-elf too and this is for story reasons, but honestly it simplifies quite a bit.) (She's also spent a long time studying with the Great Fairy, Fae queen of the Summer Court.)
Starting stats: STR 8, DEX 14, CON 10, INT 15, WIS 14, CHA 16
(The Triforce of Wisom then adds 4 WIS, then all her level based bumps are in WIS also. With gear, that brings her up to 25 WIS at lvl 12 but you know it will go higher)
Cleric 6 (Aureon - domains Knowledge and Magic) - Divine Oracle 6 / Spellthief 12 (She uses ranged sneak attacks to become a powerful debuffer.)
Feats: Zen archery, Point blank shot, precise shot, deadeye shot, skill focus religion (Oracle prereq), Marked by Fate (Triforce of Wisom, which gives +4 WIS and activate for Divination effect)
Gear: Ring of arming for fast switching between Zelda and Sheik gearsets. Sheik gearset includes a monk belt to throw her insane Wis into her AC as well. You can gear as appropriate from there. I didn't bother myself too much with the wealth cap, since she a) Is a Princess. b) Might have some gifts from the Great Fairy c) could have taken some time to seek relics of her ancestors. I just picked things that were appropriate rather than powerful or costly.
I love how deadeye shot means she doesn't have to worry about flanking as long as an ally is attacking also, and she gets access to the sniper shot spell, too! You could just imagine her invoking the triforce of wisdom and closing her eyes to shoot! And she is a full phopetic cleric too!
All this sets her up to offer powerful buffs and healing to a certain Fighter/Ranger. While being able to leverage even more dangerous Debuffing against a certain Epic Warlock. I have both of those builds as well, and am really pretty proud of Ganon's. Let me know if you d like to see them too.
